THE LITTLE I KNOW I SHALL NEVER FORGET
INTRODUCTION
All must not be talented. With a great reverence to the title for the title of this article, it is necessary to encourage one and equip him with the tools he needs to discover and know more about his self. It would also help one to discover his talent and know the power of his ability. Some people are in existence, but really they don’t know who they are.
There are three classes of human being in existence: those who make things happen, those that watch things happen and those who neither do nor watch. Those that make things happen are those who have discovered their talents, those that watch things happen are those that are yet to discover their talents, and those who neither do nor watch are those who are deceived by the word kismet
This work in prĂ©cis is intended and aimed at equipping one with the material he needs to discover and use his talent, as well as to treasure it.

DISCOVER YOUR TALENT
Just as those who make things happen, discover your talent. The discovering of one’s talent is one of the very important aspects of personal development. For proper and effective discovering of one’s talent, the person’s knowledge of himself is required. Discover, according to the oxford advanced learners dictionary, means “to be the first person to realize that somebody is very good at singing, acting etc. and help them to become successful and famous.
One does not know what he can do until he tries. It is by trying that the monkey learnt his jumping skills. Be among those that make things happen. Some people do not know who they are simply because they are living behind the walls of their introvert nature, and when you don’t know you make mistakes. Inferiority complexes have caused lots of harm and disorder to the ability of many individuals.
Many potentials are in us not discovered and unused. If we discover and make use of our hidden abilities which are in our disposal and service, then we can be counted among the great peoples that make things happen. To discover ones talent, one should agree with himself that he is talented. There are recommendable steps and materials for one to discover his talents below:
·         GIVE A TRY (PRAGMATISM): we know by doing. The things we often take to be difficult or rather impossible are the things we have not tried. Most people don’t try because they are afraid of failure and criticism. Make an attempt, even if you fail don’t quit; keep on trying. The success of a man has to do with courage and endurance, don’t speed it up.
·         OPENNESS: be open to people’s idea; don’t just be dogmatic to your own self and be limited to only the knowledge you have. Put off your introvert nature; be open to people and their ideas. Humble yourself to learn because no one is too old to learn and no one is too young to teach.
·         DISCIPLINE: every talent has a rhythm and it is limited to the spheres of discipline to maintain the rhythm. For example if a football player lacks discipline of the game, he will lose his career as a player and his talent would be lost.
·         INTELLECTUAL KNOWKEDGE: intellect helps one to know the things he can do; every talent has a connection with universal knowledge.
If you study the steps and make a proper utilization of the materials given to you to discover your talent, you can be able to know yourself, discover your talents and then utilize them.
THE POWER OF YOUR ABILITY
The power of your ability is immeasurable. The measurement depends on the level of engagement or disengagement from it; it is not static. It grows as one uses it and diminishes as one drops or disengages from it. One, who can create a bicycle, can also create a motor cycle but it depends on his level of improvement.
Understanding the power of your ability is the easiest and simplest way to achieve your intended goal. It is possible when we understand the great power and the huge possibility of our talents. Man is a bundle of talents; his capacity is not limited to a particular thing, take for instance, if Mr. A can produce a computer, he can also operate it.
What makes a man is his ability. His importance in the society at large or to whatever group he belongs, is determined by what he can do. Your ability provides you with power.
TREASURE YOUR TALENT
Many people know the price of everything but the value of nothing. The best way to retain a good talent is to make it a treasure and keep on utilizing it. In order to treasure and love your gift(s), be these three principles below:
·         BEWARE AND CONSCIOUS THAT YOU KNOW: keep in mind that you can make things happen. Follow the system and rhythms of your talent and you will make a great name and impression in the field of your talent.

·         CONTENTMENT: show appreciation for what you have. Focus on your talent, handle it with care and never let it go. You have to accept your talent. If you don’t have a positive attitude towards your talent, you are losing and gradually and automatically you will turn into a failure.

·         CONSTANT PRODUCTIVITY: keep on utilizing your talent so that it will not lust. ”An organ not put into use degenerates” Jean Baptis Larmak; the great biologist would always demand functioning. The less use of our talents, the more loss of ability.

CONCLUSION:
Many have not discovered or are yet to discover their talent. Discovering of your talent is very important in the construction of personal ability because the importance of a man lies on his ability. Some don’t discover theirs because they don’t try or rather because they are afraid of failure and criticism. If you can’t accept criticism, to have fame and possess a great name may be impossible for you..
Some people are too anxious with when will they discover their talents instead of how will they discover their talent. Instead of taking life as it is, they are simply trying to increase its speed.  The success of a man has less to do with speed, but much to do with effort and accuracy. Some lost their talents because they don’t treasure it or rather because of poor utilization. Follow the rhythms and system of your talent and you will make a wonderful personality.
Don’t ignore even the smallest step required for you to discover your talent and abilities. Be interested in what you are and allow the word kismet to be on hips own. Education without natural ability is useless; stand up, make a move and you will discover yourself on top of the world. You are the most suitable to be a fillip to your own talent and intellect.
