A FAITH TRAVEL IN THE DARK

The gods and goddesses of paganism are not demonic enemies
This explains why Paul was comfortable speaking about the altar of an unknown god
When we know more, the knowing takes longer time
It becomes unique and original, simple and profound

We are mostly sad people
Lost and bewildered
Even those who appear happiest on the outside
Are dreadfully lonely inside

We paddle in a vast sea
Very dark and deep
Pain has bitten deep into us
But there is hope
Even in the darkest time of despair

We hunger and yearn
But we get no answers
We feel no God at this time
But in our hearts we know he is there

When going through darkness
We grow tremendously
Because we are in blind faith
For our eyes are closed
They are shut, so we can’t see in deep despair

So we travel on
In the darkness; unseeing
